R. Lee Gordon – Black Men Making History

As part of “my callling” to uplift the quality of life and learning for our young generation in a country and media-based society seemingly more intent on turning our children into prisoners and prostitutes rather than productive, positive people, I am currently organizing The National Black Youth Empowerment Expo in New York City. And to ensure we consistently engage as many youth as possible, the expo is being planned as a quarterly event currently scheduled to be held in Detroit, Atlanta, and then in LA or Houston, TX, spring 2010.

Wells, is a writer, entrepreneur, survivor and advocate of sexual and domestic abuse prevention and awareness. It has been her determination, unwavering faith and perseverance that have helped her to overcome many challenging obstacles in her life. She has written heartfelt, spiritual and inspirational essays during her healing journey. This has inspired her to create Angel Wings Publications, LLC, to help victims find strength, hope and courage to begin their healing process.

Christian, I became aware of and interested in where my “institutional” faith had gone awry. This awareness and interest lead me to the conclusion that Christianity had been hijacked and in my search for a spiritual connection, I became a student of Yoga.

The Magical Rug – Seeing Growth Promotions

Mr. Bernie is on the hunt for a legendary treasure that has been around for decades. Because no one has ever been able to find this treasure, the legend has become a myth. After several years of optimistic searching, Mr. Bernie finally discovers the treasure! Included in the bounty is a magical rug of great beauty. Mr. Bernie becomes more interested in the magical rug’s tricks than in the treasure. Mr. Bernie becomes obsessed with the power of the magical rug. While intentionally abusing the power of the magical rug, it finally reveals the last trick it is capable of right in front of his eyes. The final trick of the magical rug teaches Mr. Bernie a very valuable lesson.
